Alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh is used for reinforcing waterproof, anti-fracture membranes and cementitious smoothing and levelling layers. Suitable for reinforcing the waterproofing membranes. Blue in colour.

HOW IT WORKS

ARMTEC MESH REINFORCE WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS

The Armtec Mesh also known as Mapenet 150 is used in all the Armtec Waterproofing systems. Systems making use of the coated glass fibre mesh include Armtec Renew, Armtec Under Tile & Armtec New Slab. The coated Armtec Mesh is alkali-resistant and can therefore be used in cementitious skim coats and plaster applications to provide reinforcement for the waterproofing systems.

Armtec Glass Fiber Membrane

1/ COATED MESH

Alkali-resistant fibre glass mesh used to reinforce waterproof protection layers, anti-fracture membranes and cementitious smoothing and levelling layers.

2/ WHERE TO USE

Used for waterproofing terraces, balconies, swimming pools, baths, shower cubicles, etc. with ceramic tile or stone finishes; Will give a protective, flexible smoothing layer when applied on internal and external cementitious substrates with micro-cracks; Can be used in cementitious skim coats in general.

3/ CHARACTERISTICS

Once the waterproofing layer where Armtec Mesh has been installed has hardened, It will reinforce the layer to protect against the formation of cracks due to movement in the substrate or the tiled surface. It also makes it easier to apply an even layer of the chosen product and improves the system’s resistance to temperature variations and abrasion.

4/ PACKAGING

50 metre rolls, 1 m wide. The product may be stored for a limitless time if stored in a clean and dry place.
