Metal Roof Painting & Renovation in Monument Park, Pretoria

At one of our premier projects located in Monument Park, Pretoria, we were commissioned to rejuvenate and do metal roof painting at a residence plagued by an ageing, rusted roof. The original structure showed evident wear, with leakage at the overlaps and loosened screws. The flat IBR roof, showcasing years of exposure, demanded pressing restoration. Additionally, the carport’s roof had severe rust damage, necessitating an overhaul. Our meticulous approach began with the removal of old waterproofing and thorough cleaning of the main house’s roof, paying special attention to the rusted areas. Post the rust treatment and spot priming, we employed Plascon EMS 18 primer for coating and utilized the StretchSeal waterproofing system on joints and screw lines. This was followed by painting the roof with Plascon Nu Roof Cool. As for the carport, we substituted the aged roof sheeting with brand-new ones, prepped it with galv wash, primed it similarly, waterproofed the parapet wall flashings, and ensured a consistent finish with Plascon Nu Roof Cool.
