3. Prep and prime the substrate. The full slab was prepared and primed to give the new system a sound, well-bonded base.
4. Apply the ArmTec waterproofing system. A continuous ArmTec waterproofing layer was installed across the entire slab, sealing the roof as one uninterrupted membrane rather than a patchwork of repairs.
5. Reinstate fittings. The geyser on the roof was lifted and reinstalled so the finished waterproofing ran cleanly underneath it, with no interruptions around the base.

The result

The slab now carries a smooth, fully bonded ArmTec waterproofing system with no weak joints or delaminated patches left to fail.
