Factory IBR roof sheeting waterproofing and painting

Waterproof a factory IBR roof, box gutters and ridges with the StretchSeal Waterproofing System which is flexible and UV resistant. Prep and Paint the factory roof with two coats of high-performance roof paint to give the roof a new look and protect it for years to come.

Our client had a few leaks in the admin sections of his two factories in Jet Park. One of the factories was also leaking on the ridgeline.
EcoSeal was contacted for a roof inspection and to identify the problem areas on the two buildings.

After inspection, the main problems identified were exposed joints of box gutters & existing waterproofing failing on overlaps of the roof sheeting on the admin buildings
The ridgeline of the one factory also had a few problems with loose/missing screws & open sections letting water in.

Remedial action taken on this roof waterproofing & roof painting project included:

Building 1 – Admin Office

1. Fix and waterproof box gutters & front wall flashings;
2. Fix and waterproof parapet walls & flashings;
3. Clean, fix and waterproof overlaps of sheeting;
4. Treat rusted areas and paint roof sheeting.

Building 2 – Admin Office

1. Fix and waterproof box gutters & flashing;
2. Fix and waterproof parapet walls & flashings;
3. Clean, fix and waterproof overlaps of sheeting;
4. Treat rusted areas and paint roof sheeting.

Building 2 – Factory Ridge Line

1. Fix damage section, secure all fastener screws and replaced where needed;
2. Backfill gaps between ridge cover and sheeting narrow flute gaps;
3. Reinforced with Geo-textile strips;
4. Waterproof complete ridgeline.
